Admissions Requirements

Each applicant (Student and Mentor) must agree with the Student's and Mentor's Doctrinal Statement and provide written testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus.

Student/Mentor Application Form

Free Tuition: OBI’s practice of bringing seminary level studies to the students is provided as a ministry; therefore, it is completely free.  While donations are welcome, they are not required or expected.  Although tuition is free there are a few caveats.  Students must 1) have a personal relationship our Lord Jesus Christ; 2) agree with OBI’s statement of faith; 3) have access to a computer; 4) have internet access; 5) have an email address; and 6) have the desire to learn.

Free Study Materials: Study materials are provided free in PDF format.

Free Registration: Registration is free.

Grading System: The grading system is simply Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory, which is determined by the student’s local mentor/faculty advisor.  Whether by examination or mere discussion, once the student’s satisfactory understanding of the assignment is established by the adjunct advisor, course credit is issued.

Disciplinary Policy: All students are expected to conduct themselves in a godly manner.  Oikia Bible Institute maintains the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is deemed unbecoming to traditional Christian ethics.

Graduation: Upon completion of your chosen program, you will earn either the Certificate of Biblical Studies, or the Certificate of Pastoral Ministry.
